Adrian Frost receives Outstanding Fund Manager Over 25 Years award
Artemis is delighted that Adrian Frost, co-manager of Artemis’ UK equity income strategies, has been awarded the Outstanding Fund Manager Over 25 Years award at this year's Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year Awards.
The ceremony was hosted online this year. You can watch it at: https://fmya.com/fundmanageroftheyearawards.
There are no nominations for this award: it is entirely at the discretion of the judges, who choose their winner from across the industry.
Adrian began his career at Deutsche Asset Management (Morgan Grenfell) in 1983. He was appointed a director there in 1990 and head of UK equities in 1996. He joined Artemis in January 2002 to manage Artemis’ UK equity income strategies, which he does alongside Nick Shenton and Andy Marsh.
Accepting the award, Adrian said: “I’m genuinely touched and honoured to receive this award. Thank you to all those investors who have trusted me, and trust me, with their investments. I’ve always tried to convey successes and failures in as frank and as plain a manner as possible.” He continued: “As an investor, I think it’s important to keep your eyes up on the horizon ahead. That’s one of the key tenets of good investment”.
