Philip is a partner and the creator of an investment process (SmartGARP™) which Artemis uses to help choose stocks for five of its funds. He has managed Artemis’ ‘SmartGARP european equity’ strategy since its launch in March 2001 and SmartGARP UK equity strategy since July 2010. He joined Artemis in February 2001 from Merrill Lynch, where he was head of pan-European equity strategy. He holds a BA and an MA in economics.
