Biography
Alan has more than 40 years’ experience of fund management, starting as an analyst at Morgan Grenfell in 1974 and ending as group chief investment officer at Schroders from 2005 to 2012. Since his retirement from Schroders, Alan has held a number of trustee and advisory roles for both charitable and commercial organisations. He also served as chairman of CDP, a climate change non-governmental organisation. Alan chairs Artemis’ Management Committee.
