Hamel is responsible for investment oversight in the fund management team, supporting the chief investment officer. He graduated from Surrey University in 2007 with a degree in economics. As an analyst in compliance and risk management, he went on to work at BlackRock, Fidelity and, latterly, Vanguard Asset Management. Hamel joined Artemis in 2015.
