Update to the investment policy of Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Extended Alpha

We updated the investment policy of Artemis Fund (Lux) – US Extended Alpha on 30 June 2023 to include negative screening (exclusions) and additional information about ESG factors and sustainability considerations.

Updated 30 June 2023

We changed the investment policy of Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Extended Alpha (sub-fund) to include details of negative screening (exclusions) that will take place at the outset of the sub-fund’s investment process. We also included additional information about the manager’s strategy including information about environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and sustainability considerations.

What has changed?

While there are updates have been made to the prospectus and the investment policy of the sub-fund, no changes were made to the way in which the sub-fund is managed.

The updates provide additional information about the manager’s strategy including details of negative screening (exclusions) that take place at the outset of the sub-fund’s investment process and information about environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and sustainability considerations.

As a result of these changes the sub-fund gained Article 8 status under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.

Why has Artemis made these changes?

We aim to communicate clearly with investors. An important part of that is describing how we manage investments as transparently as we can. The changes to the investment policy of the sub-fund are intended to provide more information about how the sub-fund is managed, especially with regard to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and sustainability considerations.

When did the changes take place?

The changes came into effect on 30 June 2023.

How will you be impacted by these changes?

There should be no impact on you as a result of the updates.
