A number of Artemis’ funds are reviewed, assessed and rated by independent third-party ratings agencies based on a variety of factors, primarily relating to their long-term investment performance and the quality of their managers.

Agencies providing ratings and/or awards are third parties and are not affiliated to Artemis in any way. Awards or ratings provided by these agencies do not represent investment advice nor are a recommendation to buy or sell units or shares in a particular fund or portfolio. Awards and ratings are provided by third parties subject to the conditions below.

The Adviser Centre

The Adviser Centre is a service for financial professionals only. Its 'factsheet' for each fund reviewed provides quantitative and qualitative assessment of a fund, with a description of the fund and its independent opinion of the fund.

AJ Bell investment awards

FE fundinfo

Alpha Manager Rating

FE fundinfo Alpha Manager Ratings are a quantitative measure and rate the performance of a fund manager over their career including all funds they have managed and places worked. They are designed to distinguish fund managers who have consistently performed well over the longer term.

The ratings are reviewed in January of each year, using numbers up to the preceding year end. View the full methodology at Trustnet.

Crown Fund Rating

FE fundinfo Crown Ratings are a quantitative measure, designed to distinguish between funds that are strongly outperforming their benchmark and those that are not.

Ratings are rebalanced twice a year in January and July, with the rating taking into account three measurements to derive a fund’s performance: alpha, volatility and consistently strong performance. View the full methodology at Trustnet.

Investments Approved Rating

FE fundinfo Investments Approved Ratings combine multiple ratings and qualitative research.

The FE research team runs an outsourced investment proposition for advisers that combines fund selection, risk-targeted portfolio management and governance. The bedrock of its research proposition is its fund list - the FE Investments Approved List. The FE Investments Approved List has been scrutinised from all angles and represents the best funds, fund managers and investment houses in the industry. The funds that make it into this coveted list are awarded the FE Investments Approved Rating.

FNG Label

The FNG Label (known in German as the FNG Siegel) is an SRI quality standard for German-speaking markets (Austria, Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland) awarded to funds which meet a series of detailed criteria, including exclusion standards, and follow a dedicated sustainability strategy.
