The managers conduct research to build a portfolio of between 60 to 90 company shares that they believe can keep growing their dividends. The fund’s global focus, with relatively low exposure to the UK, means that it could sit alongside investors’ existing UK income holdings.

The managers of the Artemis Global Select Fund seek capital growth over five years by investing in company shares they regard as being high quality. These companies are selected using a process that seeks to benefit from long-term global trends. The managers look for companies with strong market positions, excellent finances and the ability to maintain profits over time. Rather than engaging in short-term trading, the managers invest for the long term.

Looking for strong brands that consistently outperform the market
Capitalising on the expansion of the middle-class

Aims to grow capital over the long term by tapping into the earnings potential of the emerging middle-class and changing consumer demand through investing in leading consumer brands. The management team looks for underlying brand strength that creates strong competitive barriers, giving the companies that own them pricing power and high profit margins.

Artemis SmartGARP Global Emerging Markets Equity Fund

Selects investments from over 2,500 companies in emerging markets
Combines systematic company screening and expert analysis

Offering exposure to the growth potential of companies in emerging markets, this fund seeks to grow capital over five years by selecting investments from a pool of more than 2,500 companies. The managers draw on Artemis’ in-house software tool, SmartGARP®, which uses an objective, systematic approach to screen companies' finances. The managers then perform detailed analysis to qualify the investment rationale for each investment opportunity identified.
